KITSUNÉ x PONYSTEP mixed by Jerry Bouthier, a summer mix cd “très mode”. After Kitsuné released the Kitsuné x BoomBox compilation in 2007, an iconic snapshot of what was possibly the wildest club in the world at the time, the pairing is once more in full effect with Jerry Bouthier in dj seat again…The new compilation, Kitsuné x Ponystep mixes tracks and remixes from some of the hottest names around (Roisin Murphy, French Horn Rebellion, Booka Shade, Aeroplane, Lindstrom, Munk…) a truly international cast that goes as far as Sydney, Perth, NYC, Oslo, Berlin, Manchester and inevitably Paris and London. He traveled to many countries, but the destination that always
comes up to his mind is Paris. A modern and classic city, tricolor is its elegance forever,

Monsieur Yoshida celebrating his 75th anniversary, hoping the tricolor

Japan is a very important territory for Kitsuné. The Japanese are big music fans and as such love all things Kitsuné. Now focusing on artist development, Kitsuné is setting up a Japanese domestic imprint titled ‘Kitsuné Japon’. A label dedicated to promote Kitsuné artists locally. Kitsuné Japon’s first main project is Two Door Cinema Club’s fantastic debut album ‘Tourist History’. The youthful Irish trio is gearing up to be one of 2010’s major discovery . Lovely and handsome, these lads write the most amazing songs and melodies, what’s more ,they totally rip it up live!!!!
With such a fab band on board, it’s a very exciting time to launch this new Japanese venture for Kitsuné.
